Mechanical hazards at the workstation
Determine the protection needed against falling parts, swarf and sharp debris. Verify toe and puncture protection against the specific model's technical sheet, rather than its name.
Flooring and liquids
Record oil, water and process fluids separately. An oil-resistant sole does not by itself mean that it will offer sufficient slip resistance on an oily surface.
Fit throughout long shifts
Evaluate the fit, heel grip and insole based on standing and walking time. Experiment with representative employees; Do not reduce protective properties for the sake of comfort.
